Brandon D. Tieso is a Wealth Advisor with Community Financial Services Group, based in CFSG's Burlington office. He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.
Prior to joining CFSG, Brandon served as a Financial Advisor and Chief Compliance Officer at an independent Vermont investment management firm, where he worked with individuals and families on financial planning, portfolio management, and regulatory oversight.
Brandon earned his Bachelor of Arts from the College of Holy Cross, graduating magna cum laude, and studied Politics, Philosophy & Economics at the University of Oxford. He is committed to helping clients make thoughtful financial decisions across all stages of life, from wealth accumulation and retirement planning to trust and estate considerations.
In addition to his advisory work, Brandon is an instructor in artificial intelligence at the University of Vermont (Professional and Continuing Education) and has delivered workshops and presentations on technology literacy for professionals and community audiences across Vermont.
Brandon is active in his community. He serves as Secretary of the Charlotte-Shelburne-Hinesburg Rotary Club, sits on the board of the Charlotte Senior Center, and is a member of the Charlotte Development Review Board. Outside of work, he enjoys scuba diving and exploring new technology.
