Mark T. Frederick, President & CEO of Community Financial Services Group LLC, has over 27 years experience in the trust and investment business. Before joining Community Financial Services Group, Mark headed a $2 billion trust department in Vermont for many years. Prior to moving to Vermont, he was responsible for supervising the management of investment portfolios for a trust department in Illinois.

Mark is a University of Wisconsin alumnus, where he concentrated his studies in economics. In addition, he completed the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University, attaining Certified Trust & Financial Advisor and CFSC designations.

Thomas W. Bright began working in banking and investments in Vermont in 1988. Tom most recently served for 7 years as a Trust Officer and manager with Chittenden Trust Company. In Tom's current role he serves as Vice President and Trust Officer.

Tom holds Certified Trust & Financial Advisor designation from the Institute of Certified Bankers, an M.B. A. with honors from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a B.A. from Middlebury College.

Tom's office is located at the National Bank of Middlebury in Vergennes, Vermont.

Janet H. Cartee began working in the banking and trust industry in 1981. She began work with the predecessor to CFSG in 1996 and is currently a Trust Officer.

Janet's education includes Chamberlayne Junior College, Northeastern University and courses through AIB and four trust courses through Cannon Financial Institute. Janet's office is located in Newport, Vermont.

Douglas M. MacCallum has been in the financial services industry since 1994. He has been a financial advisor at the National Bank of Middlebury for 12 years. He currently is a Trust Officer at CFSG.

Doug's education includes Curry College and graduate work at Northern Arizona University. He has also recently completed a trust course at Cannon Financial Institute.

Joseph P. Preddy, CFP, has been in the financial services industry since 1994. Joe worked as a financial consultant for Merrill Lynch and Salomon Smith Barney and came onboard as a trust officer on June 3, 2002 for CFSG, working out of the Barre, VT office.

Joe's education includes the U.S. Naval Academy and completion of Merrill Lynch's Financial Consultant Training Program.

Bruce G. McLaren entered the financial services industry in 1996. Bruce worked as a securities trader for Fidelity Investments before becoming a Financial Advisor for Morgan Stanley, where he completed Morgan Stanley's Financial Advisor Training Program. He also worked as an Investment Analyst at Prime, Buchholz & Associates, a consulting firm that assists non-profits, endowments and foundations with their investment decisions.

Bruce is a graduate of White Mountains Regional High School, Brandeis University, and holds a Masters degree in International Economics & Finance from Brandeis' Lemberg School of International Economics and Finance. He works out of our Littleton, NH office.

Alice Claflin began her 22 years in the financial services business as a futures broker with Merrill Lynch in New York in 1980. She has been in the trust/investment business for the past 4 years and is currently the Trust Investment Officer.

Alice's education includes a BA in Economics and Government from Smith College, Cannon Financial Institute trust, investment and sales training, and various AIB courses.

Shellie L. Wright has been in the financial services industry since 2003. Prior to joining CFSG, Shellie worked as a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones. She is currently a Trust Officer at CFSG.

Shellie received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from Bryant University's College of Business. She has completed Personal Trust II school at Cannon Financial Institute, and is currently enrolled in the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (SM) professional designation program through the College of Financial Planning. Shellie works from our Lyndonville, VT office.

Randall E. Saulnier began his career in banking and investments as a portfolio management accountant with State Street Corporation shortly after attaining a BS degree in business administration at Plymouth State University. During the ensuing 21 years with State Street, Randall worked as a money market trader, ultimately becoming a vice president of global markets, managing the bank's fed funds position and trading repurchase agreements.

Randall's educational background also includes accounting, CHP Level I and various investment and insurance specialties. His office is located in Newport, Vermont.

In addition, CFSG has an administrative support staff of five, with a combined forty-four years of trust administration experience.
